A listening stick is a sound detector that checks abnormal sounds. This is done by holding the edge of the listening stick to a water supply apparatus (a valve, a tap, a fire hydrant, a stop valve, a water meter, or a gate valve) and listening to the sounds. You can check whether there is a possibility of abnormal sound, or a water leak. The listening stick is constructed so as to allow the separation of parts, for easy storage and carrying. If you connect an extension stick (option), it is possible to lengthen the main body from 0.5 to 2 m. |
